We have just started the new year and already we are seeing exciting new LEGO® BrickHeadz sets being released, these are Stranger Things Demogorgon & Eleven (40549), Toy Story Woody and Bo Peep (40553), and Looney Tunes Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote (40559).
These new LEGO® BrickHeadz will be released on the 1st February and will retail at $19.99 each! It’s great to see more licensed themes being added to the LEGO® BrickHeadz collection.
Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote 40559
This is one pair that I am surprised have taken so long to be released, such an iconic pair to kick off the LEGO® BrickHeadz Looney Tunes theme.
I think it is clear to say that this opens the door to a boat load of new LEGO® BrickHeadz, what will be next? Bugs Bunny? Porky Pig? Daffy Duck? According to Wikipedia there are 15 main characters so I would expect to see more of these being released in the very near future.
Demogorgon and Eleven 40549
With the new Netflix Stranger Things series nearing release (expected mid 2022) these two are hitting the LEGO® BrickHeadz collection at a perfect time.
I think Eleven looks okay but she looks quite plain, the Demogorgon however looks great, the printed tiles with all it’s nasty teeth is a nice way to capture that terrifying look by just using 5 pieces.
If you loved the LEGO Stranger Things Upside Down set (75810) then you will definitely want to add these two LEGO® BrickHeadz to your collection.
Woody and Bo Peep 40553 & Buzz Lightyear 40552
LEGO and Disney have always done well together and these two are no exception to that. This is a good start to building out the Toy Story BrickHeadz collection, don’t forget that Buzz Lightyear is joining these two on the 1st February too and you can get him for just $9.99!
The question is, will they go any further with this range? I feel like Rex will make a show but I would really like to see if they could make a Mr Potato Head or Slinky Dog!
If you are a LEGO® BrickHeadz fan it looks like 2022 is going to be an interesting year to build out your collection! Are there any LEGO® BrickHeadz you are hoping will be released?
