The name comes from Matthew's two children. Both grew up loving brick models, as Matthew did from a young age. They were the original reason the business was started, which is why the name has never changed.

Belle-Ve Bricks is a custom brick model studio run by Matthew Mitchell in the UK and Ferdi Vol in the Netherlands. We design and supply bespoke model kits for individuals, businesses and organisations worldwide.
Every commission starts with a specific brief. Every finished model is made for one person, one occasion or one purpose. Nothing is taken from a catalogue and passed off as custom.

Where it started
The name is personal. The business became more focused over time.
Belle-Ve Bricks has changed since 2018, but the reason behind the name and the standard expected from every project have stayed the same.
Matthew starts Belle-Ve Bricks.
The business began as a marketplace connecting independent custom model designers with buyers.
Matthew and Ferdi change direction.
The marketplace model ended. Belle-Ve Bricks shifted fully to designing and supplying custom models directly for clients.
The studio becomes a limited company.
Belle-Ve Bricks Limited was incorporated on 16 June 2022 and has operated as a commission studio ever since.
One focus: genuinely bespoke commissions.

You send the idea, references, purpose, quantity and any deadline already known.
Scope and quote
We define what is achievable, what is included and what the project will cost before work moves forward.
Digital approval
You review the complete digital model and request changes before parts sourcing or production begins.
Production and delivery
Once approved, we prepare the parts, instructions, packaging and delivery required by the agreed scope.

We are not interested in producing generic models and changing a colour or label. The model is designed around the brief from the start.

Sustainability
Reduce waste where the decision is ours.
Our digital building instructions replace a printed booklet with a business card-sized QR card linked to the step-by-step guide. That means less paper, less packaging and less waste, especially across larger production runs.
We also review how projects are sourced, shipped and packed. We do not present that work as finished. We make practical improvements where we have control and stay honest about where more can be done.
