Released in 1983 Thriller was the first music video that was significantly longer than the corresponding song and could be seen as its own movie.
It later also became the first music video that got included in the National Film Registry.
But more importantly this red leather jacket and the zombie dance became a symbol of 80s pop culture as well as Halloween so I had to include him in this series.
