The Seamstress Shop

The seamstress’ shop is the first half of the design set Silkwood Street MOC with minor improvement and optimization on the parts. The sand green, tan and white combination leave a warm & inviting ambiance making any visitor want to look inside and see what the seamstress has to offer. The ground floor serves as the workshop with a sewing machine, mannequins, clothes and small tools. The bright pink & white tile works might seem odd but fits the theme and works well given that it is a shop for clothes. The 1st floor is the living space complete with a bed, small kitchen/dining area & toilet. It also has an access ladder going to the attic (A.K.A. future LEGO® room).

The building is in a 16×32 base plate and is compatible to connect with other modular buildings. With a proper placement, this MOC can either serve as a corner building or a connecting building with a small alley as shown in the Silkwood Street MOC design.

This MOC was released for those creators who want to start small on doing alternate builds. The build is not too complex but shows off a nice façade and an establishment that is not usually showcased in other designs. Creators can opt to build the complete design by purchasing the Silkwood Street instruction instead of purchasing this instruction.
